Early Life

Ololade Tijani-Ebong (born August 1) is the CEO/ Managing Director of Speed film Productions Ltd and Speed Media communications Multisynergy Ltd. She is one of Nigeria’s proficient filmmaker and Producer., she has received various accolades, including World-Fest Houston International  Film Festival award as winning director 2023 and many others including nominations internationally and within Africa.

Academy

Ololade graduated from  Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 2009 before pursuing her career in the film industry by travelling to the United States to study in the New York Film Academy, California

Passion & Dream

Determined to hone her craft, Ololade traveled to the United States and enrolled in the prestigious New York Film Academy. This pivotal step proved transformative. Graduating in 2018, she wasn’t just equipped with technical skills; she was ready to take the film world by storm.

Diary of Bolanle: A Breakthrough Debut

Biography

Ololade Tijani-Ebong  (born August 1) is a Nigerian film maker. One of Nigeria’s proficient film producer, she has received various accolades, including World-Fest Houston International  Fimn Festival award as winning director 2023, Chicago Film Festival award, and many others including nominations internationally and within Africa.

Ebong began her film making journey in 2005 and made her breakthrough with her short award winning film – “Diary of Bolanle” in 2018 in the Los Angeles Cinema of Hollywood for the Best Student Film. In the same year of graduation, she made further breakthroughs with the film Diary of Bolanle in several other international film festival awards programs such as Cannes Short Film Festival, 2018, California Women’s Film Festival, 2018, World-Fest Houston Film Festival as best student production of Diary of Bolanle. In 2019, she further won other awards in the City People’s Award as best upcoming film maker for thr year 2020. As one of the best graduating students in the New York Film Academy in 2018, she stepped further into the world of film making, gaining popularity in several cities in the United States following her wins and exposure. In 2019, she had directed and produced  another film – a feature length film IFE AIMO – which brought her further into spotlight after winning the 2022 award in the ROHIP INTERNATIONAL  FILM FESTIVAL, and officially selected in several other awards festivals such as the African Indigenous Language Film Festival  Awards in 2022, Faith and Family Chicago Film Festival in 2023, among others.

Since then, she has further produced, directed and even acted in other films and as before, won several  awards in the films. After producing another feature titled IPIN MI in 2020, she has been nominated as best  producer and winning film in several film festivals. A few of them are the Athvikvaruni International  Film Festival in 2022 as the winning producer in the same year. The Aljaw International Film Festival 2023 as winning film – IPIN MI. As well as official selection in the African Indigenous Language  Film Festival 2022. Yet again, in 2023, she directed and produced OGEERE – an award winning feature.  Among some of the awards in this film – Ogeere – are the World-Fest Houston International  Film Festival Awards as the winning director.  In 2023, she was nominated at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards as best producer – Best indigenous movie (Yoruba) –Ogeere.
